Pilgrim at the Crossroads

All my life I’ve stood at the crossroads.

The crossroads of cultural and intrapersonal identity, of orthodoxy and nonconformity, of the crippled past and the implausible future, of tradition and the desire to live independent of anyone’s expectations.

Over the years I’ve learned the wisdom of standing at the between. I’ve learned to question the gods and devils I run into at intersections, and to not build altars to places where I might be saved.

I’m Drena Griffe, a Pilgrim at the Crossroads. This site will contain some of the reflections, insights and ponderings I’ve gathered from the dusty earth and ways we can together learn how to walk in harmony with our longings, dreams and fears.

Whether you are traditionally religious, untraditionally spiritual or somewhere betwixt and between, I hope that at some point we can carve a quiet space to meet at the crossroads and learn from each other.
